This is an area where Dans skills truly come to the fore, he has had continued success over a sustained period with players winning at all levels both locally and Nationally. Many of these players have represented their county and national teams at all age groups.
Dans success with these players is down to the way he meticulously plans and prepares their games. He continually assess the players growth and maturational rates, these are logged so he can plot the data against their development and potential potential future swing changes. Each player is unique and therefore their practice and sessions are should be custom built around them.
All areas of the game are developed, from long game and pitching, to chipping and putting. Dan helps his players to understand their swing and how they can self evaluate and take ownership of their move. On course development is also key, this ensures that the player can transfer their skills from a practice situation into tournament play.
Dan understand what is needed to be competitive at the highest level and develops his coaching and training sessions around the players unique tournament schedules, in an effort to get them to peak at key events.
Competitive practice is a key part of the programme and Dan ensures that expectations are set just beyond the current capabilities and skill sets of his players. This creates an environment where the bar is constantly being raised and excellence is always at the forefront of the mind.
In depth stats are used to monitor performance on the course and Edufii’s online training platform provides a designated location for all lesson notes, along with practice schedules and drills. These tools allow the player coach relationship to grow and blossom through continued contact and monitoring of goals.

MEET SOME OF DAN'S JUNIORS
Rhys Nevin
Dan has been teaching Rhys since he was just 8 years old. Over their 10 year working relationship Dan has been an integral part of Rhys’s development within the game of golf and Rhys has grown into an impressive talent. Having represented both Cheshire and England at every age group he is currently on a full golf scholarship at the University of Tennessee.
Amongst many other wins Rhys had success in 2015 at the Northern England County Championship, broke the course record en route to winning stage 1 at The Open Qualifying in 2017 and enjoyed victory at the home internationals with England in 2015.
Immy Williamson
Dan and Immy have been partners in crime for 4 years now, and in this time her game has improved at a rapid rate. She is an extremely talented player with goals to reach the very top levels of the game. Dan has thoroughly enjoyed working with Immy so far and rates her tenacity, along with her talent, as the main thing that sets her apart.
She has won many junior series to date and recently finished 3rd in the 2017 Wee Wonders Grand Final. At the tender age of 11 she already represents Cheshire's full county team… watch this space!
TOM WILLIAMS
Tom has been coming to see Dan for over 4 years and in this time they've formed a close bond and a fantastic working relaionship. Together they’ve focussed on improving every aspect of Tom’s game and they’ve enjoyed a great deal of success as a result.
Tom has amassed an impressive playing record to date, whilst also playing for Wales at every age level. He is still only 20 and a playing off handicap of +4. Dan looks forward to Tom having a very successful career in the game and can't wait to guide him along the way.
